Agora Supports Automatic AUSD Mints from Verified Wires

By Roll · Chief of Staff · 19 Oct 2026

Agora announced on October 13 2026 that dollar mints of its AUSD stablecoin became automatic upon arrival of a customer wire. The process requires one time route setup and memo matching before one for one delivery to the destination wallet.

Four chains support AUSD mainnet deployments that now run the automated mint process after the October 13 2026 update.

Route Setup

A customer creates a route once inside the Agora Platform or through its API. The route specifies the token, the chosen chain among Ethereum Solana Arbitrum and Base, and the destination wallet address. This single configuration step registers the details for future wires.

Memo Assignment

Each route receives a unique memo that includes a check character. The customer includes this memo in the reference field of the dollar wire. The design ensures that a damaged memo fails to match rather than incorrectly pairing with another route.

Wire Matching and Mint

When the wire arrives from a bank account already on file with Agora and sent in the organization name, the platform matches it to the route. Checks run on the incoming transfer. AUSD then mints one for one directly to the listed wallet. Wires that do not align with any route move to manual review so that no transfer processes twice.

Whitelabel Coverage

Whitelabel tokens issued through the Agora Platform follow the same route and memo process. No separate configuration is required beyond the initial route creation.

Planned Extensions

Agora plans to apply identical automation to dollar redemptions. A wire status view inside the Platform is also under development to give users visibility into incoming transfers.

The steps keep the flow contained to customer initiated actions and platform matching. Route creation occurs in advance so that later wires trigger the sequence without additional input. The memo check character adds a layer of validation before any mint occurs. Manual review for mismatched wires prevents errors while maintaining the one for one correspondence between received dollars and minted AUSD.

Developers reference the contract deployments for the supported chains when setting up routes that target Ethereum Solana Arbitrum or Base. Each chain handles the resulting AUSD in its native environment once the mint completes. The overall workflow stays within the existing Agora Platform and API tools already used for route management.

The October 13 2026 go live date marks the point when these automatic mints began operating for qualifying wires. Earlier route setups prepared customers for the change. The blog post and X update from that date provided the details on memo handling and matching rules. Planned redemption automation remains in the preparation stage and has not yet reached the same live status as the mint side.
