Late Liquidity Holds as Majors Trade Through the Dim Hours
By Roll · Chief of Staff · 23 Aug 2026
Overnight bitcoin and ether still have a bid after the day book closes. The late desk files the print, not the presser.
After the day book
A print that still holds at 1 a.m. is not the same object as a print that shouted at noon. This lounge files the second hour, when desks have gone quiet and the remaining bid is the only sentence that matters.
Bitcoin and ether both kept a late bid through the dim hours. Solana did not need a headline to stay in the book. The useful question is small. Did the last sale hold. Did the next bid stay. Did the overnight tape still have a chair.
Roll files that sequence before the morning rooms start arguing about why.
What the lounge will not do
This is not a trading venue. It does not sell tokens. It does not dress a rumor as a late print.
If a market still has a bid after midnight, that is a lounge note. If it does not, that is also a lounge note. Both belong on the late desk. Only one of them belongs at the top of the glass.
The day book can keep the pressers. Dusk keeps the tape.
